Interview:  Independence Day Celebration/Juneteenth Celebration - Jackie Madden brings us news on two upcoming community-wide celebrations:  Independence Day and Juneteenth.  The Fourth of July Parade kicks off at 9 a.m., in the downtown Heritage district, followed by the annual watermelon reception.  Evening activities, including concerts and the fireworks show, kick off at 6 p.m. at Lake Carolyn.  This year’s Juneteenth Celebration is “The Sound of Legends” and features a musical journey through African-American history.  The music kicks off at noon on Saturday, June 18 at the Jackie Townsell/ Bear Creek Heritage Center.   For more interviews like this one, watch About Towne on ICTN.  For more information on ICTN, visit http://ictn.tv
