Nextdoor (SD) - In an effort to provide residents with another resource to keep them informed and connected, the Irving Police Department now has a page on http://www.nextdoor.com the private social network for neighborhoods. The Department believes this will help facilitate a virtual neighborhood watch program and foster neighbor-to-neighbor communications. The program is free for both residents and the City and will allow individual neighborhoods the ability to set up private neighborhood websites, accessible only to residents of that neighborhood.
