Volunteers Restore Shelton's Bear Creek Cemetery (SD) - Volunteers Restore Shelton's Bear Creek Cemetery A long-neglected piece of Irving history is now getting some much-needed attention. Hidden in an overgrown plot of land is the final resting place of some 200 Irving settlers who first came to the area as slaves. Volunteers are working to show these pioneers the respect in death that they did not always get in life.
