Cottonwood and Hackberry Interceptor Microtunneling Project - The City of Irving is using an innovative process on the Cottonwood and Hackberry Interceptor Project, which is now underway along Riverside Drive. The $26.7 million project is replacing wastewater lines. As the population of residents and businesses grows, the city needed additional wastewater capacity. The new lines are made with more durable material that is expected to last for decades to come.
