Irving Police Host Child Safety Seat Inspection Event - Most car seats are used incorrectly. That’s why the Irving Police Department held a free Child Safety Seat Inspection Event. The department has worked with other agencies on similar programs in the past, but this is the first one using all IPD personnel. A state program provided the department with car seats to provide to families who had damaged or expired seats. Irving Police will also conduct individual safety seat inspections by appointment.
