About Towne – July 1, 2009 - Coming Up on About Towne… We’ll have Vicki Kennedy’s preview of the Irving Black Arts Council’s summer production, “Killing Me Softly” on July 11. We’ll visit Camp Bollywood at the Irving Public Library with Starlene Stringer, coming up July 6. And, we’ll bring back our Backyard Oasis series, with a visit to the garden of Mary Klinetobe and Helen Good. Plus, Jennifer Wilson brings us news on the new exhibit “From the Emperor’s Garden: the Ten Thousand Springs Pavilion” on loan from the Smithsonian.
