About Towne July 18 2019 - In this edition of About Towne, we’ll celebrate our country’s birthday with stories on the Fourth of July Parade and the Independence Day Celebration at Lake Carolyn. We’ll also honor our troops with a story on the Irving Quilt Guild’s Quilt of Valor. And to round out your summer fun, we’ll preview the MainStage Irving/Las Colinas season finale, “Boeing Boeing.” But wait, there’s more: Kass Prince brings us news on the Irving Art Center’s Grant Advisory Board – they’re looking for new members – and the 2nd Annual Volunteer Fair coming up September 10. And Nina Crocker, the reigning Ms. Mature Irving, joins us to talk about her year representing our fair city.
