About Towne November 15 2017 - We salute our veterans on this week’s edition of About Towne. We bring you highlights from the Veterans Day Celebration at Veterans Memorial Park and Unite for Troops 2017. And we’ll introduce you to Irving Firefighter Lt. Eric Smith, whose bravery in Operation Iraqi Freedom earned him the Navy Cross, second only to the Congressional Medal of Honor. Stick around for a story on how a missed phone call almost kept Lt.
