KidsNotes at the West Irving Library - The Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra makes outreach and education a priority. In addition to their wonderful concert season at the Irving Arts Center, the LCSO has created the Lone Star Youth Orchestra and a variety of other formal educational opportunities for young people ranging from pre-school through high school age. Just recently, one of their visiting programs for the youngest of students made a stop at the West Irving Public Library. KidsNotes brings orchestra members to libraries, bookstores and schools for a hands-on interactive experience. Watch these kids discover the magic of music as they learn about instruments, talk with orchestra members and play the instruments of the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra.
