Senior Portfolio Exhibit 2019 - If you have ever wondered if the arts are relevant in schools, consider this: studies show that the arts help young brains develop properly, they provide incentive for kids to stay in school just like sports programs, they help build community among the students involved in them as well as the students who help celebrate their successes, they train students for future careers the same way the building trades classes do, and if that is not enough, this story has even more reasons to support the arts in our schools.
