Irving Upgrading Large Water Meters - As part of the City of Irving's ongoing focus on improving infrastructure, Water Utilities teams installed new sensors on some of the city's large water meters. Those meters serve hospitals, hotels, and other major water users. While large meters makeup only 1% of the city’s total system, they account for 30% of water revenue. Any inaccuracies in these large meters can have substantial impacts on water and revenue loss. Watch the video to find out about some of the important data the new sensors provide.
