Inside the Movies: “American Made” & “Year by the Sea” - Scott Churchill takes another turn in the reviewers’ chair and brings us two films, based on the lives of real people, that speak to the idea of “finding yourself”. In “A Year by the Sea” Karen Allen portrays a woman experiencing a mid-life crisis and, no surprise, spends a year-by the sea-reflecting on her life to this point and on her future. “American Made”, on the other hand, is a manly American story of a guy who is looking for something more and discovers his true calling and a natural talent for Being Bad.
