History-Making Ribbon Cutting at Levy Event Plaza - Irving hosted the longest ribbon cutting in city history to celebrate the opening of Levy Event Plaza. City leaders and other invited guests spaced themselves six-feet apart to maintain social distancing. The plaza is a $2.8 million project along Lake Carolyn that will host Laughs by the Lake, the Fourth of July Fireworks, and other community celebrations.
